If the equipment is not used for a long time, it should be turned on and run regularly

The Q-SUN aging tester contains a large number of electronic and electrical components, which are prone to moisture and damage when not in use for an extended period. For example, if the Q-SUN's motor does not run for a long time, it may cause the rotor to turn irregularly and produce abnormal noises. Powering on the equipment at regular intervals can generate heat in the electrical components, evaporating the internal moisture to ensure the normal operation of the Q-SUN equipment.

Therefore, to ensure the normal operation of the equipment, if you have no testing requirements for an extended period, it is recommended to power on the machine for at least 3 hours every two weeks or monthly, especially in summer or during the plum rain season. Before starting the equipment, be sure to turn on the air conditioner for cooling to reduce the humidity in the room before powering on.

The specific power-on steps are as follows:

1.Turn on the Q-SUN instrument's power switch, press RUN, and immediately press STOP to stop the operation after the green light turns on. There is no need to light the lamp. The purpose at this time is to turn on several fans inside the equipment simultaneously to blow away the moisture inside the machine.
2.After waiting approximately half an hour, press RUN to start the light exposure step. After 2–3 hours, press STOP to stop the operation, and then let the fans blow for another half hour or so.
3.Turn off the equipment's power switch.

Detailed step-by-step instructions and guidance for the above operations are provided in the product manual included with the equipment. For the product manual or any other assistance, please contact us!
