The Q-SUN xenon lamp aging machine has three models, each using different filters due to structural differences. The Xe-1 and Xe-3 models have filters of the same size but different quantities: Xe-1 has one filter, while Xe-3 has three filters. The Xe-2's filter system is housed inside a filter cylinder, composed of 14 small filter pieces.

Due to the air-cooled structure of the xenon lamp aging machine, fine dust accumulates on the surface of the glass filters over time. Regular cleaning of the filters is therefore necessary to maintain cleanliness and optimal light transmission. Filter cleaning or replacement can be performed simultaneously when the M14 prompt appears for lamp replacement, improving maintenance efficiency.

1.The cleaning steps for the Q-SUN Xe-1 filter are shown in the diagram below. Additionally, the four screws fixing the filter can be unscrewed to remove and clean the filter. The specific operation steps are as follows:

2.The steps for cleaning the filter cylinder filters and replacing the filters of Q-SUN Xe-2 are as follows:

For the Q-SUN Xe-2, the window IR filters not only need to be cleaned but also require regular replacement of one set (2 pieces) together with lamp replacement, as shown in the diagram below:

Replacement Steps: Follow the order from 1 to 7. Discard the 7th set of filters, move the 6th set to the 7th position, the 5th set to the 6th position... and so on, move the 1st set to the 2nd position, and install a new set of filters in the 1st position.

3.The cleaning method for the Q-SUN Xe-3 filter is shown in the diagram below. Additionally, the screws fixing the filter can be removed to take out and clean the filter. If using window IR filters, refer to Figure 4 for regular replacement.

After cleaning the filters, the machine should be powered on and run to perform irradiance calibration to ensure the accuracy of irradiance.
