1500-Hour Maintenance: Replace New Lamp

53 Views 2025-06-05

The lamp replacement cycle for the Q-SUN xenon lamp aging machine is 1,500 hours. Within 1,500 hours, calibrating and boosting its power every 500 hours with a calibrator ensures spectral stability. After 1,500 hours, even if the power is increased, the spectrum will deviate from the standard spectrum. At this point, the lamp must be replaced to make the spectrum meet standard requirements, while also reducing machine power consumption and extending equipment service life. When the equipment displays the M14 information prompt, a new lamp needs to be replaced.

Lamp Replacement Steps:

● Press the STOP button to allow the machine to cool completely.
● Turn off the power supply.
● Open the top cover or chamber door.
● Remove the old lamp and install a new one.
● Turn on the power supply, press the RUN button to start, calibrate with a calibrator, and complete the replacement.

1.Below are the specific steps for three models:

2.Q-SUN XE-1 lamp replacement steps:

3.Q-SUN XE-3 lamp replacement steps (the machine has three lamps, which are replaced one by one using the same method):

The calibration methods for Q-SUN Xe-1 and Q-SUN Xe-3 are basically the same as above, except that Q-SUN Xe-3 requires calibrating three monitoring points in sequence. After replacing the lamp, the machine should be powered on to perform irradiance calibration to ensure the new lamp’s spectrum meets standards.

Detailed step-by-step instructions for the above operations are provided in the accompanying product manual. For the product manual or other assistance, please contact us!
