500-Hour Maintenance: Irradiance Calibration
To prevent aging of the lamp tube and the irradiance sensor of the equipment itself, it is required to calibrate with an external calibrator every 500 hours. This helps address irradiance deviations caused by lamp tube deterioration and ensures accuracy. When the equipment displays the M31 message prompt, irradiance calibration must be performed using an irradiance calibrator.
The Q-SUN Xe-2 xenon arc weathering tester has three types of calibrators and calibration methods for different machine models across generations:
1.First-generation calibrator: Integrated sensor and calibrator. The irradiance calibration method is as follows:
2.Second-generation calibrator: Handheld calibrator, compatible with various sensors (e.g., irradiance, temperature) for calibration. The irradiance calibration method is as follows
3.Third-generation calibrator: Calibrator integrated with the machine, which can connect to various sensors (e.g., irradiance, temperature) for calibration. The irradiance calibration method is as follows:
Calibration methods for Q-SUN Xe-1 and Q-SUN Xe-3 are generally similar to the above. The difference is that Q-SUN Xe-3 requires calibrating three monitoring points sequentially.
Detailed step-by-step instructions for the above operations are provided in the product manual included with the device. For the manual or additional assistance, please contact us!
