500-hour maintenance: Calibrate irradiance (QUV)

43 Views 2025-06-18

To prevent the aging of the lamp and the irradiance sensor of the equipment itself, it is required to calibrate with an external calibrator every 500 hours to address the irradiance deviation caused by factors such as lamp decay and aging, and ensure the accuracy of irradiance. When the equipment displays the information prompt "M66 Time to Calibrate", we need to use the irradiance calibrator to calibrate the equipment.

The QUV ultraviolet aging machine is divided into the following three calibrators and calibration methods according to different machine models of different eras:

1.Integrated calibrator and calibration method

2.Calibration method for split-type universal calibrator

3.Calibration method for touchscreen version

Tips:

The positions of four monitoring point sensors placed in the middle of the QUV sample placement area can be found on both sides of the machine.

To obtain the most accurate results, ensure that the QUV has reached the normal temperature set value before calibration. For example, if the UV is set to 60°C, make sure the temperature has reached 60°C before calibration.
Select the lamp type through the calibrator and the lamp type button on the screen to ensure that the selected lamp type is consistent with that used by the QUV.
Press and hold the calibration button until a beep is heard. After a few seconds, the irradiance value displayed on the machine should be the same as that displayed on the calibrator. If not, press and hold the calibration button again.
Even if the values of the calibrator and the machine are consistent during each calibration, press and hold the calibration button to calibrate, so that the calibration reminder information will disappear.

The above operations have detailed step-by-step instructions and guidance in the random product manual. If you need the product manual or other assistance, please contact us!
